A massage may be a basic therapy, but it is often included within rehabilitation. Massages relax, accelerate circulation, improve scar healing, postoperative recovery, and help alleviate rheumatic diseases, osteoporosis, headaches, migraines, and reduce cellulite and fat deposits.
Massages reduce painful conditions, and they are especially useful after surgeries and immobilization. An important results of massages is the relaxation and reduction of physical and mental tension.
We apply manual massage which has a therapeutic, but also diagnostic component, and occasionally we combine various massage devices (electric, magnetic, vibrating devices...). Manual massage directly and indirectly affects the muscular and nervous system and blood and lymph circulation. Improved circulation means that the tissue is supplied with oxygen and nutrients better.

SPORTS MASSAGE:
Sports massage may be defined as a massage that prepares the body of an athlete for exertion before or after a training or a competition. A specific dry massage method or a massage using a contact agent is applied, which allows the body to recover in the fastest way possible.
During a sports massage, the physiotherapist will heat up and soften the muscle tissue and smoothen muscle fibers. Because of this, scars heal faster and the excretion of waste substances is accelerated. Squeezing leads to a high muscle blood flow, stroking leads to relaxation, and tapping, pulling and hitting with a half-closed fist increases muscle tone and helps increase the metabolism.
Regular massages are very beneficial to athletes, since they help maintain the body and prevent injuries, maintain mobility and help remove harmful substances accumulated during intensive training. Sports massage may be applied regularly – several times a week after the training itself, or occasionally, when the athlete feels the need for it.
MEDICAL MASSAGE:
Medical massages increase circulation, increase oxygen and nutrient supply and increase the elimination of harmful substances from the body, and the elimination of carbon dioxide from the blood. Medical massages may be used as a primary therapeutic intervention or in addition to other therapeutic techniques.
We apply medical massages by focusing towards the diagnosis and the problem due to which the person signed up for the treatment. They help with tense and painful muscles in which lactic acid has accumulated due to fatigue. The connective tissue mesh which surrounds the muscles becomes more dense and less flexible, which negatively affects your bearing and breathing. CLASSIC MASSAGE:
Classic massages are the most common and most known method of massages. However, they are often mixed up with relaxing massages, with which they bear similarities, but are different with regards to the method itself, and their intensity and purpose. Classic massages are slightly more intense, and are primarily intended to increase circulation, and relieve stress and tension. Classic massages employ five basic elements for increasing circulation and eliminating toxins from the muscles. The movements are always directed towards the heart in order to ensure better blood flow, and better relaxation of the muscles and the whole body.
Classical massages are very effective at reducing various pain, they soften the tissue and positively affect the body, however, their most important aspect is reducing stress. Classic massages differ from relaxing massages in another important aspect – classic massages can be painful and not always pleasant. An experienced and professional masseur will minimize any potential pain and elevate the feeling of comfort, but due to the deeper and more intense movements, this method is still rougher than relaxing massages, which also makes sense, since its purpose is to eliminate stress and relax tense (painful) muscles.

RELAXING MASSAGE:
Relaxing massages allow a correction of energy flow and relax the body, and improve blood and lymph circulation throughout the body, harmonize it and remove fatigue, tension and stress from the body. After this type of massage, you will feel relaxed, recovered and fresh. The primary goal of relaxing massages is to put the body on the verge of sleep and soothe the body and mind with specific movements and essential oils chosen according to the season, specific problems or simply according to the mood. Since the massage has a relaxing effect and releases you from anxiety and stress, your brain releases serotonin, which leads to sleep of better quality. This type of massage is light and alleviates pain which may also disturb your sleep.
